Yes it does. Newer closed-center hydraulic systems still combat what is known as "q-min" built into the hydraulic pumps. This minimum quantity of displacement results in wasted horsepower, heat and fuel consumption. This additional heat and horsepower loss increases wear in the hydraulic system. Our hydraulic kit redirects this "q-min" for additional cooling and minimizes horsepower losses while gaining fuel mileage.

If your tractor's hydraulic pump "q-min" is 15 gallons a minute on a hydraulic system rated for 2800 PSI, this means you have 28.05 horsepower being lost to heat, fuel consumption and wear.
Yes it does. This was the why the initial design was created and developed. The Intermediate Hydraulic Kit allows open center hydraulic systems to operate implements that require constant pressure hydraulics. The kit completes the task of supplying down-stream constant pressure hydraulics to the implement while allowing the tractor/power source to operate efficiently and effectively.
Open-center hydraulic systems, when attempting to supply constant pressure hydraulics are designed to deliver the volume required and push the non-required volume over the hydraulic systems relief valve. This creates wasted horsepower, heat and additional fuel consumption, while in turn exponentially increasing wear on the hydraulic system.
